Music To Listen To

We have made it 1/2 way through the year! Good job, everyone! Now let's see if we can make July - December ever more better fun than January to June. It won't so hard for us in Vancouver considering it just stopped raining at the end of June.

1. Chris Koza - a Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter, and has released three albums since 2004 -- "Exit Pesce," "Patterns," and "A Friend of a Friend" (EP). Music critics have compared Chris' sound to Wilco, Paul Simon, Nick Drake, Beck, and Ryan Adams, among others. He performs live with a band, which includes anywhere from 2-7 members.

2. Cloud Cult - Since 1995, Cloud Cult have crafted sprawling, cathartic albums that have won them the attention of the New York Times, MTV, Spin, Billboard, and a devoted following of fans.

3. Timber Timbre - From Toronto, Ontario. This is part of a review from Soundscapes Music: "The second album from Toronto songwriter Taylor Kirk feels far removed from this part of the world.
