Deb Garlick ~ A Painter & Photographer

Deb Garlick is a gifted artist from Victoria that I have sadly never met but have emailed back and forth many times. It's funny how emailing can help a friendship grow...but i guess that's how pen pals used to work.

I recently worked on her new website and we both thought it came out perfectly. Deb had a vision for her website and all I did was make it come it life.

What makes her website so beautiful is the art she displays on it. Her paintings are exceptional. They are full of personal emotions; very introspective and calm.

Deb's work can be seen in several galleries so look out for her work in your home town. Until then, you can see her latest work and news at www.debgarlick.com.

the times are a changing!!

We were pretty excited yesterday when we were finally able to click the "put" button to launch our new fabulous website. We were giddy with joy and i think these 2 pictures convey best what we were going through before and after the PUT moment.

Our first job was to tell everyone about it, cuz we greatly appreciate and value feedback, (THANKS GUYS!) and fix all errors and bugs that are still flying around. But it's up and running and we're feeling a little like proud parents with a new baby site.

Blue Skies and Daisies is definitely changing and getting better every year the world/life allows us to stick around. We've added more Ready2Wear designs and options, resources, friends, questions and answers, details and so much more.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

07 and a brand new 08

Hello peoples! I'm (Brina) in Fernie for the week, resting from a fantastic christmas holiday in Ontario. It's nice to just sit back and enjoy your time and space instead of running from one home to the next...as enjoyable as it is to see everyone I love back home. I do love them and appreciate any time I can spend with them...ohhhhhh the holidays...full of buts.

I miss my Albertine, who has been enjoying an island Christmas.

I hope you're all enjoying yourselves.

On a business note, the new website is coming soon!!!! Get yourself ready for greatness.
